FREE INTERNET ACCESS
Come and use the Free internet access at the Market House if you would like some help, we don’t offer teaching but you can ask our Market House Receptionist to arrange a session with one of our Computer Buddies. A Volunteer is happy to sit alongside and help with any queries you might have about basic computer use.

AGAPE FOOD BANK
Vouchers issued for the AGAPE Food Bank can be redeemed for emergency food at the Market House reception. Enabling local communities to help their neighbours Restoring dignity, reviving hope.
Agape Care Foodbank provides a minimum of three days non-perishable emergency food to local people in crisis.
All food given out is donated by the local community.
We work in partnership with frontline care professionals to identify people in need.

THE LINCOLNSHIRE CREDIT UNION
is now open at the Long Sutton Market House on Fridays at 10.00am.
The opening times will be every Friday 10.00am to 12 noon.
Think of us as a Community Bank that is run by professional volunteers, working under the strict regulations of the Financial Services Authority.
When it comes to borrowing money, we make everything simple!
We are able to offer loans of between £100 and £3000, with a typical monthly rate of 2% on a reducing balance.
All loans are approved on a capacity to repay basis, so poor previous credit may not be a problem.

RECYCLE 4 CHARITY .CO.UK
Help save our environment and raise money by recycling
We are currently raising funds for Long Sutton Market House Trust by recycling old mobile phones, inkjet cartridges and laser/toner cartridges and your help would be greatly appreciated.
Our organisation will receive 50% of the recycling value for any mobile phones, £1 for each original empty inkjet cartridge or £5 per empty laser/toner cartridge donated kindly by you, friends, family or colleagues.

SOUTH HOLLAND COUNCIL CUSTOMER SERVICES
CUSTOMERSERVICES CAN NOW OFFER YOU THE FOLLWING AT THE MARKET HOUSE
- GREY GARDEN SACKS – these cost £1.50 each ( Customer can put them out with their black bag collection)
- GREEN SACKS FOR RECYCLING – these can be obtained from the Market House ( additional black sacks cannot be provided)
- HOUSING APPLICATION FORMS – If customers wish to go on the housing register they can collect an application form from the Market House, NB if assistance in filling in the form is needed then they will need to return when an SHDC Customer Services Adviser is present ( at the Market House that’s Tuesday 9.30am to 4.00pm Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm ) Completed application forms CANNOT BE ACCEPTED EXCEPT BY SHDC Customer Services Adviser.
- HOUSING AND BENEFIT FORMS - Benefit forms can be collected from the Market House NB if assistance in filling in the form is needed then they will need to return when an SHDC Customer Services Adviser is present ( at the Market House that’s Tuesday 9.30am to 4.00pm Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm ) Customers may wish to hand completed claim forms in at the Market House. They will need to leave documents to be returned to the SHDC offices these will be stored securely and collected by SHDC staff.
- BUS PASS APPLICATIONS – Customers can collect information for bus passes which are now issued by LCC.

LONG SUTTON IN BLOOM
We are a mixed bunch and a happy crew who get on well together- it is not all work – we have an annual outing and a Christmas social evening plus lots of fun!
More Volunteers are URGENTLY needed to enable us to carry on with the floral displays in your town.
Age / experience no barrier – you can do as much or as little as you want.
A sense of humour and enthusiasm essential ingredients!

IF YOU NEED A TRANSLATION SERVICE.
Residents and businesses in Lincolnshire who need to communicate in a different language or in an accessible format now have the ability to use a service being delivered by Lincolnshire County Council's Customer Service Centre.
The service called Comlinc offers both a cost effective telephone interpreting service and a written translation service, along with advice on getting documents and leaflets translated in line with Central Government guidelines. The use of community and professional face-to-face interpreters can also be accessed via this service. Guidance is also available on how to use talk type, producing documents in Braille, large print or Easy read formats.

DISPLAY BOARDS IN THE FRIENDS ROOM
The Friends have now bought two sets of display boards available for use in the Market House.
Local photographer Angela Reeve has a display of local views together with her award winning Wash Calendar photograph of last year and her winning Wash Calendar photograph of this year. Wash Calendars are available for sale in the Market House Reception.
PHOTOCOPYING & LAMINATING
The Market House Reception now offers
Photocopying Black and white only at 10p per sheet up to a maximum of 20 copies
Laminating A4 at £1, A3 at £1.50
COFFEE
The Friends have purchased a coffee machine for the Reception area for use by anyone visiting the Market House or waiting for perhaps the CAB or Police. 50p per cup.
