Migrant Workers

MIGRANT workers were rewarded for a year of linguistic hard work at Long Sutton Market House.   Twenty-six students received English certificates after attending the course which is funded in the local community and taught by tutor Kay Morley.

The students also learned more about how local bodies are working towards integration via a series of presentations from NHS, council and police officials.

Free English Language Class are available at the Market House on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 7pm to 9pm during term time.   Please check with reception for dates 01406 366767

The Migrant Worker Forum

This is a local community social group of both members of the local community and migrant workers and their families.  The Forum meets regularly to discuss matters of interest to the migrant worker community and have a social evening helping to break down barriers.
